Greenawalds Fire/Rescue

Greenawalds Fire / Rescue is a 100% Volunteer Fire Department located in South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, PA (just west of the City of Allentown).  Comprised of about 35 active members, Greenawalds (Station 11) is one of three stations in South Whitehall Township.  In addition to general fire suppression responsibilities, we are also responsible for all rescue operations within the confines of the 17.1 square mile township.  We operate out of a single station which houses 2 Engines, a Heavy Rescue Truck, Tanker, Special Service Vehicle, boat with trailer, and a technical rescue trailer.  The Chief is also assigned a Chevy Suburban to use.

We also host a number of community events throughout the year including our annual Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Parade, and Santa Run!  Greenawalds is always seeking new volunteers to serve the community they live in.  Please contact us for more information.
